On November 24, 2020, Jacob took a $5 gamble and SuperSwiped Morgan on Bumble to get her attention. It turned out to be the best $5 he ever spent! After the SuperSwipe, they started talking—and they haven’t stopped since.

Dating in the middle of a global pandemic made for an interesting beginning to their relationship. For the first couple of months, their dates took place virtually over Skype. They shared meals online and talked about everything, quickly bonding over their shared love of movies.

They finally met in person in January 2021 and have been adventuring together ever since. They've explored different parts of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, and California—with many more stops still on their list. They also love attending Comic Cons and have made stops at Steel City Con (multiple times), Monster Mania, Momento Con, SciFi Valley Con, and Wellsboro Comic Con. While traveling is a passion, their favorite thing is simply being together. They're truly better together.

In September 2024, they took a magical trip to Disneyland. On September 6, Jacob proposed mid-ride on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Just before the big drop, he turned to Morgan and asked, “Morgan, will you marry me?” As the ride rushed forward, he added, “This is like our life—ups and downs, but we’re on it together.” It was a wild, unforgettable moment that became a treasured core memory. They can’t wait to return and celebrate their honeymoon in Disneyland.
